FAQs

WHAT DOES THE TOUR INCLUDE?

All tour rates include transportation, applicable entry fees to national and state parks, snacks and bottled water. Lunch is provided for the Volcano Adventure & Zipline Volcano tours. An opportunity will be provided for all other full-day tours to purchase a meal along the way.

WILL WE SEE ACTIVE LAVA?

After an incredible volcanic eruption from Kilauea volcano that lasted for 35 years there is absolutely no molten lava at the surface anywhere on the island.  All lava has stopped flowing as of September 2018.  However, there is still much to see and experience on Hawaii Island including the major geologic changes of Kilauea caldera, past lava flows and unique volcanic formations.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We recommend comfortable clothes, be prepared for both hot sunny and cool weather as conditions can change quickly around the island.  Please bring a jacket for tours that go to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park as it can get cool and wet.  Covered walking shoes are required on all tours.  We do supply umbrellas.

WHAT LUNCH IS PROVIDED?

Lunch is provided for the Volcano Adventure & Zipline Volcano tours only.  We support a local cafe that makes the best sandwiches with freshly baked bread.  Options include ham, turkey, pastrami or veggie sandwiches.  Gluten free bread is available on request.  Please let us know of any food allergies.

An opportunity will be provided on all other full day tours to purchase a meal along the way.
