What We'll Do
Begin your Kona tour in Kailua-Kona by heading down scenic Ali’i Drive along the waterfront scattered with white sand beaches and local surf breaks. Visit Kuamo’o Bay and learn of a historic battle and Hawaiian burial site. Head south along the Kona coffee belt corridor and stop at a local coffee farm for a tour and coffee tasting.
Take in the view of Kealakekua Bay and Captain Cook monument, a marine life conservation district. Explore Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, a place of refuge and sacred Hawaiian cultural site. Visit the Painted Church overlooking the scenic coastline on your way back to Kailua-Kona.
